The authorities in Michigan say that several people were stabbed in a Walmart in Traverse City on Saturday, and the suspect is in custody.
Munson Medical Center officials in Traverse City said they had received 11 victims of the incident until Saturday night. The hospital did not provide its conditions.

The suspect is in custody, said Michigan State Police in a statement published on social networks.
The Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
The authorities did not provide any other detail, including a possible reason.
Governor Gretchen Whitmer said in a statement about X that he was monitoring the situation.
“I am in contact with the police about the horrible news of Traverse City. Our thoughts are with the victims and the community staggering this brutal act of violence,” he said.
The State Police asked people to avoid the area as the investigation continues.
